Using Pins makes it easy to remove and keep your garment unharmed.
Sweatshirt sign how to:
Grab any sweatshirt or shirt - plain is best but you can easily cover up the design.
Paint letters with red acrylic onto the vinyl sheet or sticker sheet and let it dry. You can also print it out on a sticker sheet via computer.
Cut out red and white flannel sheets to cover up any design on your garment. I made it loose to mimic blood and spilled milk.
Use safety pins to start putting the flannel base on first then add the sticker letters.
I poured red paint inside with a tiny bit of water and then shaked it up. Messy hand written label because I ran out of time!
Plastic table cloths make for a good backdrop and best of all it can be re-used as a table cover for Halloween!
Cereal boxes how to:
Empty the cereal but save some to use for the costume.
Using a hot glue gun position some plastic knives into the box. Messier the better. I used a real knife to cut some slits to make it easier to put the plastic ones inside. If you run our of knives, break a fork in half and no one will know! Glue gun helps it stay in place.
Splatter with a brush some red paint over the boxes and some cereal.
hot glue the cereal pieces directly onto the felt fabrics and on top of the boxes but use safety pins to attached the boxes to your garment. to further secure them, use the glue gun to attach the boxes to the felt fabrics.
forgot to take better photos! blurry but still fun!
Voila- this cost me less than $10 and little tru was happy to have sweet cereal for days.
